X45 Full Shield
X45 arranges carbon layers at 45° angles and combines them with 0° and 90° layered carbon fibres. This construction delivers the perfect balance of strength, control and flexibility to the rod blank. With X45 Full Shield, strength is further enhanced by reinforcing this structure from the outermost layer.
Daiwa-HVF-Carbon
HVF NANOPLUS
“High-Density HVF Carbon” reduces the amount of synthetic fibres and instead increases the density of carbon fibres to optimise sensitivity, action and durability. By combining both at the nano level, the blank can achieve greater durability whilst reducing weight.
Mega Top
“Mega-Top” was introduced by Daiwa in 2009 and is reserved exclusively for products with high sensitivity requirements. Unlike conventional carbon fibre rod tips, the “Mega-Top” rod tip is manufactured using a specialised process, in which the carbon fibres are distributed extremely evenly under strict control of the resin content. This method ensures the rod boasts exceptional sensitivity, precise casting ability, and excellent rebound and elasticity.
3DX
If you have ever heard of carbon fibre weaves such as 1K, 3K, 4K, X-twist or X-braid, Daiwa’s 3DX structure is on a completely different level, in which the carbon fibres are arranged along three triangular axes at 60-degree angles to create a hexagonal carbon structure that mimics a honeycomb – the most durable biological structure found in nature – enabling the rod to withstand high impact forces from all directions.
Airsensor
Daiwa’s exclusive, premium AirSensor reel seat is moulded as a single piece to ensure durability and, most importantly, to enhance vibration transmission – a key feature of the very finest rods.
