Designed on the back of over a decade of technical advancements in previous reel models, the Vanford pushes the boundaries of Shimano’s reel technology and engineering. Built around a CI4+ body for a lightweight feel and carbon stiffness, the Shimano Vanford incorporates the MagnumLite (MGL) Rotor, which reduces rotational inertia by up to 48 per cent compared to traditional rotor designs, ensuring a rapid response in critical situations.
The CI4+ body and MagnumLite Rotor have helped make the Shimano Vanford one of Shimano’s standout models in the mid-range price segment.
