The Daiwa Phantom Power SD 21 lure rod is suitable for use with lures in rapids, along coastlines or in large freshwater rivers and lakes, as well as in managed lakes, handling heavy lures and long casts. The Fuji Alconite K-type guides allow for faster line release when casting far from the shore; not only do they provide excellent resistance to snagging, but they also help reduce strain on the angler’s arm. Alongside the lightweight carbon blank, the Fuji reel seat – featuring a design exclusive to Daiwa – is also quite attractive; more notably, the rod is well-suited for river and lake fishing. The MH-rated blank (not too stiff) offers a good balance of action and power.
