The lure features an open hook, making it easy to hook fish whilst offering excellent snag resistance thanks to its frame and large spoon-shaped blade at the top, which stirs the water effectively and helps dislodge obstacles in the fish’s path. Most anglers use this type to locate fish in shallow water. You can cast to multiple spots more quickly, and the spoon’s shimmering glint and sound are effective at attracting aggressive fish. Even if the fish do not strike the lure but merely follow it, you can still pinpoint their location and use other types of bait accordingly.

The Daiwa Small Rubber Jig SS | 3g is a stream lure, UL-class, which can also be combined with soft baits for use with a standard lure rod. Designed by Daiwa, this lure features a hard tungsten head, anti-snag barbs and a razor-sharp hook manufactured using SaqSas technology. This is a fluorine-coated technology applied to the surface, enhancing the hook’s penetration and holding power by up to 40 per cent (on average 20 per cent) compared to standard coatings.
