The Daiwa Tornado combines all the essential features of a lure rod, as well as being suitable for many other species of fish, such as high action, ultra-lightweight, a moderate size, and the ability to cast lures and land fish effectively. 1. Carbon / Sensitive Blank
The blank is formed from millions of ultra-fine carbon fibres twisted together. As a result, the Daiwa Tornado rod is extremely lightweight, highly durable and offers exceptional resistance to twisting.
2. Fuji O-ring Guides
This is the second generation, often described as an ‘upgraded version’ of the aluminium oxide guides. The guides are also made from ceramic material, making them the thinnest and lightest available. The aluminium oxide rings are ultra-smooth thanks to polishing with a diamond-tipped tool. Furthermore, the Fuji O-ring is thinner, lighter and more durable than even the Harloy range. Consequently, it minimises line friction and the resulting wear and tear, allowing the line to run out more quickly and accurately.
